The City of Crawfordsville announced in a press release its inaugural Mayor’s Ball at the nearly-completed Ira Whiskey distillery and venue. The Roaring 20s-themed gathering is organized not only as a grand opening – which will precede the event – but also as a benefit for the Boys and Girls Club of Montgomery County. It will take place on Thursday, May 7, beginning at 5 p.m. The event is presented by C&F Fabricating.
Guests will get to enjoy live jazz performed by the Noblesville Moontown Pickle Stompers; a cocktail-style reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres from the Juniper Spoon; and also a silent auction which’ll highlight high-quality items and experiences. All proceeds from the auction goes directly to the Boys and Girls Club. Remarks from Crawfordsville Mayor Todd Barton, CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Montgomery County Gina Haile, and Wabash College Head Football Coach Jake Gilbert will be featured.
A limited amount of tickets are currently being sold for $75 per person, or $125 per couple. All proceeds go directly to the Boys and Girls Club’s programming and youth services. To purchase tickets, click or tap here.
Questions about the event can be directed to the City of Crawfordsville’s Director of Communications Sarah Sommer at ssommer@crawfordsville-in.gov. Business and organization sponsorship opportunities are available through Monday, April 20. Silent auction items are still being accepted.
