The deadline for voter registration in Indiana is about close next week. The final day to register for the 2026 midterm primaries will be on Monday, April 6 at midnight. Voting registration can be done online by clicking or tapping here. It can also be done in-person at the Montgomery County Clerk’s Office or at the BMV. The clerk’s office will be closed on Good Friday.
When registering, all applicants must bring either a valid Indiana driver’s license; passport; or any other state-issued ID.
Early voting begins the next day on Tuesday, April 7. Below are some of the polling centers where Montgomery County residents can cast their early vote. Early voting dates at each location vary.
- Montgomery County Government Center (1580 Constitution Row, Crawfordsville, IN, 47933).
- Rock Point Church (429 W 150 S, Crawfordsville, IN, 47933).
- Linden Carnegie Public Library (102 S Main St, Linden, IN, 47955).
- Waveland Fire Department (108 W Howard St, Waveland, IN, 47989).
The deadline for the clerk’s office to receive early absentee mail-in ballots is Thursday, April 23. Travel board voting is also available.
Midterm primary elections for Indiana will take place on May 5. All voting poll locations on election day will be open from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Those voting in-person can do so at the following locations:
- Montgomery County 4-H Fairgrounds (400 Parke Ave, Crawfordsville, IN, 47933).
- North Montgomery High School (5945 US-231, Crawfordsville, IN, 47933).
- Whitesville Christian Church (3603 S Ladoga Rd, Crawfordsville, IN, 47933).
- Rock Point Church.
- Montgomery County Government Center.
